Zinzino’s marketing team had been struggling for a long time, says Jessica Toreld. They were sitting on large amounts of research data and scientific terminology – but had no clear way of communicating it.
“Our salespeople are amazing, but they found it hard to explain the science behind our products. These films make it quick and easy for them to explain what Zinzino actually does.”

Standing ovations
Jessica’s personal favourite production is the Spirulina film.
“I loved the sound design – it was exceptional. I was completely hooked all the way to the end. The combination of graphics and real footage worked perfectly.”
The most challenging production, was the film about gut health.
“The rules for what we were allowed to say changed constantly, and it’s an extremely complex subject to explain. But Explainer pulled it off. When the film was shown at our event, more than 4,000 people stood up and applauded. It genuinely gave me goosebumps.”
Chris highlights the same film:
“Gut health is a very complex topic, but the films are elegant in their simplicity. Making something short and clear about something that complex is difficult – and very appreciated when it works.”
So what’s next for the collaboration between Zinzino and Explainer?
“I’m looking forward to raising the production level even further with Explainer. We’ll continue focusing on spreading the message, and Explainer is a key part of that,” Chris Westerström concludes.
